We started the process by looking forward and forming a clear objective amongst a busy landscape of restaurants. This wasn’t a rebrand but positioning a brand new identity which required a lot of thought incorporating Rigatoni’s experience and ethos.
We set off observing the market locally, nationally and globally; looking into how high quality South Italian ingredients and big bold flavours could communicate succinctly to modern English cities.
The Rigatoni's message is to the point, so a no-nonsense brand identity was required. We crafted the letterforms using multiple ratios to communicate a bold attitude alongside an experience of quality food in a relaxed atmosphere.
The result seamlessly blended bold confidence with a welcoming and inclusive message that effectively conveys a brand that is versatile and suitable for any occasion.
